Women are losing jobs at a depressing rate. This is what we’re doing about it.

In the US in December women lost 156,000 jobs.

Men gained 16,000, largely because women are shouldering the additional caregiving responsibilities of the pandemic.

This was the New York Times reporting data released by The Bureau of Labor Statistics

Worst off are women of color.

It adds insult to the injury of COVID19, and is especially frustrating after years of slow progress towards equality.

“Overall, women are still down 5.4 million jobs from February, before the pandemic began, as compared to 4.4 million job losses for men. They started 2020 on roughly equal footing, with women holding 50.03% of jobs, but ended it holding 860,000 fewer jobs than their male peers” (CNN)

Here’s what we at Intro30 are doing to help real women get real jobs, remotely and safely:

We are pledging to connect 2025 women with 2025 remote jobs by 2025.

Using video-resume technology from Intro30.com we are inviting candidates to add their resume, record their 30-second video and be spotlighted, heard, seen and hired.

We invite businesses and recruiters to add links to their open remote roles that they will Prioritize for Women here.
